Submissions due by April 29th, 3:00pm
The goal of the Nebo Film Festival is to promote the art and craft of filmmaking in the Nebo School District.
Any student grades 10-12 at one of the Nebo high schools is welcome to submit. There is no fee for submission, and each student can submit up to 2 film projects and 1 poster.
We encourage submissions of all types. Documentary, narrative, animation, music video, commercial, psa, experimental. We love it all. Anything that is creative, moving, funny, or engaging has a good chance of getting chosen. Just make sure it's okay to show to families in attendance.
For the purposes of awards, we are dividing entries into 2 main categories:
We will give out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for each category as well as a "Best Up and Coming Filmmaker Award" (made by a sophmore or younger) and an "Audience Choice" award for the film that gets the most votes from the audience during the screening.
This category includes any still image created with digital tools. Could be a movie poster, photo manipulation, logo, t-shirt design, 3D graphics render, illustration, digital painting, you name it.
